This ceremony can be formal or relaxed and recall your memories, history together and goals for the future.

Commitment Ceremonies

Many couples wish to make a public declaration of their love, but do not wish to get married. A Ceremony of Commitment provides this opportunity. You can say that you belong to each other before family and friends, in a romantic and special way.

Gay and Lesbian Couples

Although same sex ceremonies are not legally recognised in Australia, a commitment ceremony is a wonderful way of publicly proclaiming your love and respect for each other. It is a special time to share your story with family and friends, in either a traditional or unconventional way.

The basic format for a Commitment or Renewal Ceremony is similar to that of a wedding, without the legal wording. Together we create a personalised ceremony, reflecting your true feelings for each other. I will present you with a distinctive Commitment Ceremony Certificate, as a memento of your special day.
